Act One: First Meeting:

Aaaaahhh!! I am going to be late to school already. Stop fretting over me like a baby!”

“But I can’t help it, Izumi. You look so cute in your school uniform…”

“How many times have I told you to stop telling me that kind of thing?! It’s embarrassing!!”

“But I lov…”

“Bye!!”

The boy dashed out of the house quickly, but not before grabbing a bagel from the breakfast that his lover and partner, for over a year now, had so lovingly made for him. Stuffing it into his mouth, Izumi ran fingers through his hair to give it some semblance of decency as he began the long run towards the bus stop. He knew his parents weren’t going to be very happy knowing that he had spent a Sunday night with the older man, but the situation couldn’t be helped. His lover, Takamiya Katura, had spent all of last night going over his final review questions for the exams he had to take this morning…among other things.

And now, just thinking of the other things they had done sent a rush of color to his cheeks.

Grrr…can’t believe I am thinking about us having…I mean…doing that thing again.”

It wasn’t as if he didn’t like it these days, but Izumi still found the situation too humiliating to talk about. It was as if he was living in a world of denial, while enjoying the pleasures that such actions brought for him as well. Sighing softly, he stopped and leaned against a wall to catch his breath. Glancing at his watch, he realized that he had made it with only five minutes to spare.

“Not bad…not bad at all…eh?” He stood upright as he felt the paper flutter across his face. Snatching it out of the air quickly, before it flew away, Izumi stared at the words on it with bewilderment only to flush darkly as a voice spoke up behind him.

“I think that belongs to me.”

He spun around quickly to stare into the most amazing pair of eyes he had ever seen. He felt his heart thump loudly within his chest as he felt himself being hypnotized by the intense scrutiny he was receiving. The boy standing before him was about his height and had light brown hair that was slightly shorter than his own dark locks. But instead of wearing a uniform, like most kids were required to do at this time of day, the boy had on a simple black turtleneck sweater and matching dark slacks that looked as if they were tailor made for him. He oozed of confidence and for a moment, Izumi felt hopelessly inadequate in front of him.

~ Kami…he is…beautiful… ~

His eyes widened in shock at his stray thought. Had he just thought of another guy as being beautiful?! That was it! Takamiya had turned him into a complete homo and now here he was checking other guys out! This was too bad!!

“Excuse me, but could you give me my paper please?”

“Eh…oh…sorry.” He stuttered with another blush as he handed it over. He watched the well-manicured hands reach out to accept it and for a brief instant their fingers brushed against each other sending Izumi gasping softly at the shock that seared through his body.

What in Kami’s name was wrong with him? It wasn’t as if he didn’t get such a sensation from Takamiya all the time, but what was it about this quiet, unassuming boy that had him this worked up?

Realizing that they were still gawking at each other, Izumi stepped back quickly with a light shake of his head. “Uuum…I had better be going. My bus is here.” Which was actually true for the sound of the vehicle pulling up to the stop broke into the tense silence.

He was about to turn around, when the other boy asked him quietly. “What is your name?”

Izumi blinked in surprise before raising a brow in mistrust. “Hey! You don’t just ask anybody you meet on the street for his or her name, dummy! You have to introduce yourself first!”

The boy looked taken aback at the insult, but with a light blush of embarrassment dusting his cheeks, he gave a light bow. “I apologize. My name is Shirakawa Naoya. Please…tell me your name…”

Izumi could hear the bus about to pull out and giving Naoya a quick nod, he spun on his heels and began to run after it, but not before yelling out loud.

“My name is Sakashita Izumi!!! See you around!!”

And with that abrupt introduction, he disappeared into the bus with no more thoughts of the mysterious brown-haired boy.

Act Two: Making Friends:

Aoe Kiichi gave a light yawn as he pulled around the corner to pick up the boy that Reiji, his kid brother had begged him to chaperone for the day. Hmm…perhaps begged was too kind a word. Ordered would be more like it.

He had had a late shift last night at the hospital and his only thought right now, was to go back to the arms of his lover and to sleep away the day. But no…for his kid brother he was willing to go the extra mile. He was still not really sure of why his aloof and seemingly uncaring brother (at least to everyone else) would have wanted to take in the waif, but who knew what went on behind Reiji’s head. His younger brother was as mysterious as he was shrewd.

He slowed the car to a crawl as he approached his destination, but what met his gaze had him rubbing his eyes just to make sure he wasn’t actually seeing things. Was Naoya actually speaking to another kid of his age? The young kitten (as he liked to call the teenager) hardly spoke to anyone else besides the people he worked with or naturally Reiji and his close knit of friends. The teenager was extremely quiet and did not make easy conversation with anyone. So, seeing Naoya actually speaking to someone else in such a way was very, very surprising.

Hmm…come to think of it, that boy with the dark hair did look a bit familiar. He watched as the boy in question ran after the disappearing bus and once gone, he turned back to notice the look of – longing? – on the brown-haired boy’s visage.

~ Of course, he should feel that way. He hardly has any friends of his own age. It is only natural that he would want to befriend someone like that. But why…him? Have they met somewhere before? ~

He stepped out of the car and hailed Naoya, blinking in confusion as he got no response. Calling him a bit louder, the brown-haired boy jumped in surprise and spun around with a dull blush on his cheeks.

“I am so sorry, senpai.” He said quickly. “I didn’t hear you arrive.”

“That’s because you have been staring after that bus as if you wish to be on it.” Kiichi chuckled at the dark blush and patted the boy’s head lightly. “It’s okay. You don’t have to apologize for anything. You do need a friend beside us old guys anyway. So, who is he?”

They made their way into the car as Naoya placed his hands primly on his lap and let his gaze drift outside the window. “His name is Izumi. Sakashita Izumi.” He replied softly. “I think he goes to that school in the main town.”

“Hmm…have you met him before?”

Naoya shook his head lightly. “No. I have never seen him before. I just met him today. He helped to pick up my papers that were about to fly away.”

“Ah…I see…” Kiichi stole another glance at the quiet boy and gave a small sigh. He would have to talk to Reiji about this later on.

Act Three: The Boy Who Wouldn’t Go Away:

Naoya washed the dishes methodically as he listened to the conversation swirl around him in the living room area. As he placed the dishes in the appropriate rack, he blocked out the sounds and stared blindly at the soapsuds that floated around his fingers.

Izumi.

What was it about that boy? It wasn’t as if he hadn’t seen better-looking guys over the cause of the year. After all, the man he lived with owned a men’s club, so seeing beautiful men every other day was no surprise to him.

Izumi.

Maybe it was because of those piercing black eyes. Yeah! That had to be it! Naoya had never seen anyone like that with eyes that black. Aoe-san had those kinds of eyes whenever he got angry, but Izumi had not been angry. Izumi had looked…

~ Beautiful. ~

Almost like his namesake, the former number one guy at B & B.

~ But I love Aoe-san. He has been kind and generous and wonderful to me. I could ask for nothing else. ~

Deciding that he wouldn’t think of Izumi any more, he finished with the dishes and made his way towards the living room. Sitting down in his customary position at Reiji’s feet, he picked up the book he had begun reading in the afternoon to continue.

Only problem - he wasn’t doing a very good job of it.

Sighing softly, he frowned and tried to concentrate, but all he could see was those same piercing black eyes that seemed to sear through his soul. He tightened his arms around the book and scowled in growing irritation.

~ Stop thinking about him! Stop thinking about… ~

Naoya!! Have you gone to sleep on me?!”

The boy jumped and gasped in surprise at the bellow from his mentor. “AoeAoe-san!”

All he received was a quirk of a brow and a frown of irritation. “If you are tired, why don’t you go to bed already. Instead of staying here and pretending to read.”

“But…I am not sleepy.”

“So, why haven’t you answered any of my calls? Were you spacing out again?”

Naoya had the grace to blush as Kiichi burst out laughing. “Hehe…be gentle on the young man. I think he has found himself another playmate today.”

Senpai!” came the shocked gasp as the brown-haired boy shook his head in denial. “That’s not true. I haven’t…”

Reiji waved a hand of dismissal. “I really don’t mind who you wish to play with, Naoya. Just don’t bring in any trouble along with you.” He took another puff of his cigarette before asking curtly. “Who is he?”

Naoya was just about to stutter out Izumi’s name when the shrill ring of the phone broke the silence. Reiji gave a light snort as he saw the name on the caller ID. “Hmm…it’s Takamiya again. Probably calling about that weekend thing again. I wonder if he’s still with that brat.”

Kiichi gave him a puzzled look. “Brat?”

“Long story. Hey, Takamiya, what’s the matter now?”

Naoya decided that this would be a good time to make his escape and getting to his feet, he left the room with a light bow to the doctor before making his way to the solace of his sleeping quarters.

Peeling off his clothes in the semi-darkened bedroom, he lay down on the bed and closed his eyes, fingers reaching for his sensitive organ as the familiar image of his dark-haired mentor was soon replaced with one of the smiling young boy he had met today.

Needless to say, his orgasm was just as intense as ever.

Act Four: The Morning After:

Izumi scribbled quickly on the notebook as he chewed on his lower lip in thought. He had another exam today and even though he had spent the evening studying with Takamiya (the pervert had managed to keep his hands to himself long enough to get some quality studying time done), Izumi still found it hard to understand the concept of the problem at hand. And since he had spent the night at home this time around, he had no need to run to the bus stop and so his footsteps were leisurely as he had about half an hour to spare.

Aaaah! This stuff is too hard! Why couldn’t Takamiya explain it to me in simple English or something!”

“Hello.”

“AAAAAAAHHH!!!” Izumi held a hand to his chest as he staggered backwards in shock. “Don’t do that again!!” He screamed, ignoring all the odd looks he received from the other passengers waiting, as he stared at the apologetic looking boy before him. “You scared the hell out of me!”

“I am sorry. I did not mean to startle you.”

Sheesh! You had better be sorry.” Came the indignant huff as he bent down to pick up the books he had dropped to the ground. He idly noticed the expensive looking polished shoes and Izumi could feel his resentment grow. What did this rich kid want from him? And come to think of it…

“Hey! It’s you!” He shouted, as he stood upright to stare into the blushing face before him. “You are the guy from yesterday, right?”

Naoya nodded softly, feeling a bit giddy at the notion that Izumi could still remember him. “Hai…it’s me, Izumi.”

“Eh? How do you know my name?”

Or not. “You…told me yesterday before leaving on the bus.”

Izumi ‘hmmed’ and scratched his jaw lightly. “Well, I guess I will just have to take your word for it. So…do you have a name?”

Naoya felt his heart sink at the question. So, Izumi hadn’t remembered him at all. And to think that he had spent the better part of yesterday and even this morning unable to sleep or do anything else but think about him. “It’s…Naoya.” He finally replied softly as he lowered his lashes fighting hard against the sting he was beginning to feel at the back of his eyes. Why should he cry over something so trivial? It wasn’t as if he had expected Izumi to even think about him. After all, he was a relative nobody. “I am sorry. I should be going now. I am sorry I wasted your time.”

Izumi blinked as he watched the boy turn away from him. It was obvious that he must have done something to upset the other boy, for the next thing he knew, he found himself calling out sharply. “Hey, don’t go!” He reached for the other boy’s arm to pull him back. Unfortunately, he pulled a bit too hard and Naoya wound up being pressed rather roughly against his chest, sending both boys blushing furiously at their close proximity.

“Ah…eh…uuum…”

“Oh…”

“Sorry! Sorry!” Izumi sputtered out quickly, as he released Naoya as if he were hot coal. With his face a bright beet red, he bowed slightly in apology. “I didn’t mean to pull you that hard. I just…”

Just what? Didn’t want him to leave just yet? He couldn’t possibly be thinking of asking Naoya to stay now, did he?

As for the brown-haired boy, he was still trying to catch his breath from the close encounter. It had only been for a second or so, but he had been this close to actually kissing Izumi. And he was sure that the dark-haired boy would not have appreciated his enthusiasm. Lowering his lashes, they both stood awkwardly, wondering what to say and do now.

Finally deciding that saying nothing wasn’t going to help the situation, Naoya took a deep breath and asked quietly. “You seem to have some kind of trouble with your school work. Would you like me to help you?”

Izumi gaped at the other boy in surprise. “Seriously? You think you can help me with my work?” He frowned. “How old are you anyway?”

“Sixteen. And you?”

Izumi pouted and scowled. There was no way he was going to ask his junior for help. It would make him look dumb. “None of your business. So, are you going to help me or not?”

Naoya smiled softly and gave a nod. “Hai…let us sit on that bench over there. How long will it take for your bus to arrive?”

“In about twenty minutes.” Izumi replied with a quick glance at his watch. “What about you? How come you don’t go to school?”

Naoya fell silent and kept his mouth stubbornly shut and seeing that the boy had no plans to talk to him about it, Izumi gave a sigh and plopped down on the bench. “Okay, Einstein. Start teaching me.”

And as he watched the smile return to the beautiful face, he made a vow to find out just what Naoya was hiding from him…as soon as possible.

Act Five: Basic Instincts:

One week…then two…

Everyday, Izumi would come to the bus stop and he would always find the familiar smiling face of Naoya waiting for him. He hated to admit it, but he had come to enjoy being with the other boy. He found himself leaving the house so much earlier than normal just to get to the bus stop on time.

But the funny thing was that even though they spent the time talking to each other, they both hardly knew anything personal. Both made sure not to tell the other about their relationships with older men or even an affiliation to liking boys. But there was no doubt that they both felt something whenever they were together and that something was beginning to bother Izumi to no end.

How could he have such feelings for Naoya…and have them for Takamiya too. It just wasn’t… right.

And it wasn’t until one morning while brushing his teeth, did the reason for it hit him.

Naoya and Takamiya were almost alike! No, they didn’t look the same physically. It was their overall behavior towards certain things that brought out the similarities. They were both wealthy and dressed well. They both liked works of art and other frilly stuff like that. So, was that the problem? Was he comparing Naoya to Takamiya then?

~ Grrr…I am just thinking too much about it. I should just let the situation drop that’s all. No big deal. ~

He glanced outside the window of the bus and winced as he noticed how dark the sky had become. It was going to rain and badly too. Hopefully, he would be able to run home in time before it poured. The bus finally screeched to a halt at his designated location and waving a quick goodbye to the driver, Izumi lifted the hood of his jacket and began to make his way down the street, only to freeze at the sight of the familiar face before him.

“Na…Naoya?! What are you doing here?”

The younger boy had the grace to blush. “I just thought I would come by to welcome you back home, that’s all. Oh…and I brought you some cake from the store.” He held up the small box to Izumi, anxiously awaiting his verdict. He didn’t want to say that he had begged the kind lady, he worked for, permission to bake it himself.

Izumi stared at the offering, feeling something hot stir in his chest at the gesture. “Naoya…you didn’t have to…”

“It’s no problem at all.” Came the quick interruption. “I wanted to make it for you. So…do you like it?” He was unaware that he was now holding his breath. He didn’t understand his need to get Izumi’s approval, but he was determined to, no matter what it took.

Izumi glanced at the box again and was just about to say something, when the bright flash of lightning and the heavy sound of thunder sent them gasping. “We had better get out of here!” He shouted as he tugged on Naoya’s arm and began to lead him out of the rain towards any nearby shelter. The nearest place turned out to be an old and abandoned store that was, luckily, still open.

Kicking the door open, Izumi ran into the dust-filled room, grimacing as drops of water from a hole in the roof, fell onto his already soaked uniform.

“What crappy weather, ne? And I thought they said it was going to be a sunny day today…eh? Naoya? Are you alright?” He moved closer to the boy, eyes filled with concern as he noticed the brown-haired boy holding onto his lower back in obvious pain. “And you are shivering too. Here…take this off.”

Naoya was too cold to argue as he felt Izumi remove his wet jacket. He stood trembling in his light t-shirt, now wishing he had worn something warmer. The shelter wasn’t really that warm and it didn’t help that the wind continued to bring in the rain through the glassless windows. He gasped as he felt something slightly warm drape over his shoulders and spinning back around, he noticed that Izumi was now in only a black tank top. He had given Naoya his inner school shirt, which had still been relatively dry and that was what had him feeling this comfortable. He held onto the shirt tightly, inhaling the heady scent of the other boy as he tried hard not to stare too long at Izumi’s well-built shoulders and chest.

Swallowing tightly, he began to walk around the room, trying to find a place where they could stay. He found a door and opening it up, he was surprised to find it was a small place that could have been a storage room. It was warm and dry and didn’t look so dusty.

“We can stay in here until the rain stops.” He offered with a smile as he motioned for Izumi, who had gone to the other end of the store, over.

The dark-haired boy moved closer and blinked at the room. “Hmm…that doesn’t look so bad. Sure! We can stay in here. After you…”

Act Six: Just A Little Taste Of Magic

They sat next to each other on the floor, not really saying much as they watched the rain from their vantage spot. Izumi had begun to do his homework, while Naoya had remained silent, not wishing to interrupt the older boy until he was needed.

From the little light that filtered into the room, Naoya drew his knees up to his chin, tightening the shirt around him, as he stole another glance at the handsome young man sitting just a few inches away. He stared at the unruly dark locks that looked tousled and were still slightly damp. How he wished to run his finger through them. The incredibly long dark lashes that graced beautiful dark eyes that could melt the coldest of winters. The well-shaped nose, those full lips that Naoya had fantasized over and over again…

“Do I have something growing out of my head?”

Naoya started and blushed darkly as he realized that he had been caught staring. “Ah…anou…no…no, you don’t. I didn’t mean to…”

“Then stop doing that. It’s kinda…weird…”

‘Sorry…”

The silence fell again and this time, Naoya decided that closing his eyes would have to be the best thing, because quite frankly, there was nothing else to look at. But even behind his closed lids, images of the beautiful boy beside him wouldn’t disappear. Every movement from Izumi had him trembling and without realizing it, he gave a tiny whimper of need, which had the dark-haired boy blinking in confusion and concern.

“Na…Naoya are you…okay…mmmmphfff!!”

The pen and papers in Izumi’s hands dropped to the floor as his eyes widened at the sudden feel of the lips crushed against his. For several seconds, his mind couldn’t digest the new sensation, but finally putting two and two together; he realized that Naoya was…kissing him!

On autopilot, his hands reached up to grab the frail arms, trying desperately to push the other boy away from him. He shook his head and tried to part his lips to complain about the surprise action, but then wished he hadn’t for Naoya had taken the opportunity to slip his tongue into the warm cavern that sent Izumi’s body flooding with a heat that he didn’t find too uncomfortable.

He struggled within himself, knowing that they shouldn’t be doing this, but yet unable to stop the sweet assault as well. Closing his eyes as well, he moaned softly as the kiss deepened, too weak and powerless now to stop whatever was bound to happen next. Trembling hands and bodies thrummed with unsuppressed need as they each tried to control their raging emotions.

Naoya felt an unexplainable thrill sear through his body and releasing his lips from Izumi’s, he stared into the beautiful dark depths and whispered huskily. “Make love to me, Izumi...please...”

Izumi gasped softly at the earnest look, and although his mind screamed for him to stop this, his hands and body told a completely different story. He realized now just how much he wanted to be with this boy and nothing was going to stop him now...nothing at all.

Naoya...” He whispered softly, as he slowly pushed the younger boy to the floor to lie above him. “Are...are you sure about this?”

The brown-haired boy silently prayed for forgiveness to Reiji, before nodding in determination. “Hai...I am sure.” And wrapping his arms tightly around his lover’s neck, he silenced any further protests as he gave himself up to the new sensation of finally being complete with another just like him.

Act Seven: Never To Meet Again:

They dressed up silently, the rain having stopped some time ago. There was really nothing to say now. They had both satisfied a burning lust and now they would have to go their separate ways never to meet again... perhaps.  And what could they really say to each other? An enormous sense of guilt hung over their heads as they thought of the men that waited for them back at home.

Izumi sighed as the image of the smiling, happy-go-lucky Takamiya filled his mind. Groaning weakly, he shouldered his school bag and waited, rather impatiently, for Naoya to be finished. It wasn’t as if the experience had been completely terrible. It was just the knowledge that he had been the brown-haired boy’s first that had him all flustered. He could still remember the way he had felt the first time he had been taken by Takamiya and how angry and hurt he had felt at the time.

~ But Naoya asked for it. I didn’t force him. ~

“I am ready to go now.” Came the soft whisper that had Izumi nodding with a dull flush on his features. Leading the way, he began to walk out of the shelter and back on to the now slightly darkened streets.

Naoya wrapped his arms around his body, a small smile on his lips as he walked silently beside Izumi. He had no regrets for what he had done. Well, maybe a little. He had hoped that his first time would be with Reiji, but since the older man did not seem to entertain the idea of sleeping with someone as young as he, Naoya was happy that he had chosen Izumi to be his first. The experience had been a bit awkward at first, as both of them had been tentative in their explorations of each other, but as they had gone on, their touches had gotten bolder, their kisses more fervent, their cries of pleasure louder and more passionate than the last. And just when Izumi had penetrated him, Naoya could have sworn that he had seen heaven at that moment. The pain had been excruciating, but the pleasure afterwards...words could not even begin to describe the way he had felt.

And now, reality was about to set in...and set in painfully. They might never meet again for Izumi’s actions afterwards had given Naoya the notion that this was never to happen.

Their footsteps slowed to a crawl as they came closer to where they were to part ways. Izumi kicked a pebble on the street and sighed softly, trying to think up something that was bound to make this farewell quick and painless.

“So...I...I guess we should be saying goodbye now, ne?” He finally muttered softly as he stole a glance at the boy who was staring at him in earnest. “Stop staring at me like that!” He suddenly cried out, his face darkening with a deep blush. “You are creeping me out!”

Naoya chuckled and gave a smile of apology. “Gomen...I won’t do it again” ~ I hope... ~. So...I guess this really is goodbye, hmm?” He said in a flippant tone that did not give away the pain he was beginning to feel inside.

Izumi smiled wanly and nodded as well. “Hai...this is...goodbye...” So, why in Kami’s name wasn’t he jumping for joy at the thought?

Naoya made a small sound of distress before wrapping his arms tightly around the slightly taller boy’s neck. And with no warning, he kissed Izumi again, not caring if he got a response or not. If this was truly their last time together, then it was best that he got to feel the boy one last time. Izumi, on the other hand, had been caught off guard, but he found himself responding helplessly.

Naoya...”

The brown-haired boy pulled away and placed a finger against Izumi’s lips to silence him. “No more words. I have no regrets making you my first, Izumi. Arigato...for making it very special.” And with a light kiss on the other’s cheek, Naoya spun on his heels and began to run away into the night, more to hide the tears that had begun to fall from his eyes.

Act Eight: The End?

“It’s been three whole days now.” Kiichi said with a light frown as he watched Naoya trudge to his room like a zombie. “What’s the matter with him?”

Reiji had noticed the change as well, but talking to the brown-haired boy about his problems was like getting teeth pulled. Naoya was not speaking much to either of them and he had remained listless and rather blasé about things around him. Finally, having enough, Reiji gave a light snort and picked up the phone.

“Who are you calling?” The doctor asked with a bemused frown.

“Who else?” Came the curt reply as he dialed the numbers quickly. “I have no intentions of having that boy mope around me all summer. So, we are going on that weekend trip with Takamiya.”

“Oh, wonderful!” Kiichi exclaimed as he rose to his feet. “Let me go tell Naoya the good news.”

He only got a curt nod in response, for the dark-haired man was already on the line with his very good friend. “Yes, Takamiya, I think it would be a good thing for all of us. We all need a break once in a while....what? That brat is still with you? Tch...fine, fine, he can come as well...my what? He is not my kitten! And yes, I am sure that he and Naoya will get along just fine. So, meet you at the country house on Friday evening, okay?....Yes...bye bye.”

He hung up the phone and lay back against the couch with a weary sigh.

He sincerely hoped that this weekend would give them all a chance to relax, because Kami knew that he needed it more than anything.

And getting to his feet, he stormed into Naoya’s room, ignoring the complaint from his brother as he barked out to the boy.

“Get your things ready, Naoya. We are going to be spending the weekend with a good friend of mine...and his little brat. I am sure you two would have a lot in common.”

Little did he know just how much his words rang true. For as fate would have it, two young men were bound to meet each other all over again.
