CHAPTER TWO:

“Well then, since it seems like both of you are going to be teaching me a lesson in pain soon, I think I will have my fun with you first. After all, I am yet to explore the pleasures that you have to offer Kakkarrot, and it wouldn’t do to keep you two waiting. So my dear nephews, what will it be? A one on one romp or one big three-way? Take your pick? I have all the time in the world for you two.”

Twin growls of disgust and rage filled the late evening air as the crude suggestion and remarks were made. If Turles had been a mere or average saiyan he would have been very surprised or incredibly frightened at the burning fires of uncontrolled fury that shone through the eyes of the young men before him. But since he considered himself beyond being a mere saiyan, the looks only fueled his growing lust and need for a good fight. He had honestly thought that the fight with Bardock would have been much tougher, but to his amazement, he had defeated his younger kin in less time than he had imagined. Oh well, no matter, he had two others to deal with right now and from the looks of things, this was not going to be easy. He just hoped that his backup plan was reliable enough if things did not go his way in the end.

“So? What is keeping you? Come on and fight with me!”

Radditsu, while not taking his eyes off the saiyan before him, whispered out instructions to the tense being beside him, his lips barely opening. “I will go first, Kakkarrot. I want to give him a surprise gift, and when I have successfully distracted him, I want you to lunge and grab his tail behind. Then we can finish him off. Got it?”

Kakkarrot could only nod. His mind and body already focused on the hateful creature before him. Turles was the cause of his pain and anguish and by Za’ani he was going to die a slow and painful death. “Just be careful brother,” he whispered back in the same manner. “I think he can smell any plans we might have.”

Radditsu nodded in acceptance and in a swift move, he rose to his full height and placed his hands on his hips. “Alright, Turles. I will fight with you first. Leave Kakkarrot out of this, understood?”

Turles pulled a face as if he had been badly hurt. “And here I thought we were going to have a three-way. Oh, well the sooner I get rid of you the better…which of course shouldn’t take very long. If my calculations are correct, the poison in your system should be working its magic any time soon.”

“Ja’ri?!”

Turles threw back his head and burst out laughing in delightful glee. “So you haven’t noticed it yet? Hmm…you really are stronger than you let on. Your poor mate couldn’t stand a chance. I see that she took the pain quite well. She must have died so peace…ARGH!!”

He found himself staggering back and trying to keep his balance. Raising hands to his now throbbing jaw, he smirked wickedly as he took in the panting and clearly furious Radditsu in front of him. “Nice punch, Radditsu.” He spoke calmly, as he felt his mouth begin to fill with the cool, metallic taste of his blood. “Very nice, but as I said, this fight will be over in no time. I can see that you are already beginning to feel the effects. You are out of breath, you are panting, which is clearly unnatural for a wa’zua of your caliber.”

“Shut up!! I will kill you before this is over!!”

And with a loud cry, he lunged for the smirking saiyan, his hands forming a large ki blast and sending it directly towards the waiting Turles. With an effortless move, Turles dodged the blast, swiftly stirring out of the lunging man’s way. In a move that was so quick that even Kakkarrot had a hard time following, a strong leg had lodged its way into the stomach of his older brother. He could only watch in horror as Radditsu gagged and then stumbled to the floor, his hands clutching his stomach in unimaginable pain. He spat a huge wad of blood from his mouth, and Kakkarrot had the feeling that he just might die in his own waste.

“You good for nothing bastard!!” He howled out in anguish, as he made a move towards the now grinning Turles.

“Ah, ah, ah,” came the cynical reply. “One more step and I will break it, and believe you me, Kakkarrot, you do not want to witness the pain.”

Kakkarrot froze in mid-air as he stared at Turles in disbelief. Radditsu was now hanging by his tail, for Turles had the furry appendage in a death grip, and Kakkarrot knew that it was taking all of his brother’s strength not to scream out in pain. Just the thought alone was enough to make him cringe, and he unconsciously tightened his own tail around his waist.

“Let him go.” Kakkarrot said quietly. “He is not strong enough to fight you. You want a real fight, then you have to deal with me.”

“I heard all about your ability to become a super saiyan.” Turles said lightly. “Why don’t you show me, boy? Show me what a super saiyan can do. And maybe, I just might spare little Radditsu here, although he still has no reason to live.”

~ My body. ~ Kakkarrot thought miserably. ~ Can my body take the pain? I have expended too much energy today. I am not sure I can hold my super saiyan state for that long anyways. ~

A sharp gasp of pain from Radditsu snapped him out of his reverie. He took in the sight of his dangling brother, his skin already beginning to show signs of the deadly poison that Turles had filled his body with. Radditsu opened his eyes slowly and managed a weak smile towards his baby brother.

~ It’s okay, Kakkarrot. I deserve my punishment. ~

~ N’ehi Radditsu…I will stop him! I swear it! ~

~ Even if you do…I will still die. There is no hope for me. ~

Kakkarrot shook his head. ~ I will get you back to the village and look for a healer. I am sure that they can help… ~

“AARRGGHH!!”

Radditsu screamed as Turles twisted the furry length again, while giving him another painful jab to his already bruised ribs. Kakkarrot was, by this time, so angry, that tears of frustration began to well up in his eyes. “LEAVE HIM ALONE!! HASN’T HE GONE THROUGH ENOUGH?!”

The dark eyes of Turles flashed in derision. “Not in my book he hasn’t, Kakkarrot. I am yet to see you turn into a super Saiyan, and the longer you keep me waiting, the faster your brother dies.”

“FINE!! SO BE IT!! AIIIIIIIYAAAAAAA!!!”

And with a burst of brilliant energy, Kakkarrot willed his entire being into becoming one with his newfound strength. His body ached as he concentrated. Images of his family, his father playing with him, training him, teaching him, his mother scolding him, feeding him, loving him, his mate’s wonderful smile, her wit, her strength, his brothers’ protection whenever he had been in trouble, their pranks, the games and fights they had had, the private moments that only brothers could share, where Radditsu had regaled him with tales that had made a younger Kakkarrot long for things he could never attain. All of these and more, had been taken away from him. Taken away from him….by this…this….

“KA’TAIII!!!”

Turles had to cover his eyes and even staggered back at the brilliant flash of gold that seemed to fill the area. The solid earth trembled at his feet. Bits of rock and debris flew by in destruction as Kakkarrot bellowed his rage to the world. Tossing Radditsu away, the older saiyan braced himself. Somehow, he knew this was not going to be an ordinary fight.

~*~*~*~*~

~ Nu Za’ani! What is that?! ~

“General Nappa!! What do we do now?!”

Nappa bit his lip and tried to keep his balance. From his vantage point, it seemed like the entire earth was about to collapse around them. The sky had darkened considerably, and at this rate, he was likely to lose his head to one of the flying debris around them.

“We will wait!” he yelled back to the group of now crouching wa’zuai behind him. “Once the fight is over, we will attack, got it?!”

Ahi, General! But sir…”

“Now what?!”

“What if the battle goes on for a long time? Do we just go ahead and capture the boy? What do we do with Turles?”

What would they do with Turles indeed? Nappa growled in anger, his fists clenching tightly. The l’arun had been nothing but trouble for him, ever since his arrival from the Blasted Lands. He felt that he should at least be grateful that the older saiyan had led him here, but yet, he couldn’t get himself to acknowledge that fact. Turles had used him, made him feel like a fool. Humiliated him and by Za’ani he was going to get his reward. His face burned as he recalled the brief encounter they had had just a few hours ago.

~*~ Flashback ~*~

Nappa, as embarrassed as he was, found himself being pulled out of the well by some of his men. Throwing death glares at anyone who dared to laugh or ask a stupid question, he stomped off towards the house, realizing with growing disgust that the stupid boy had escaped.

“WHERE IS HE?!!”

His wa’zuai cringed at the angry tone. They had seen their leader angry before, but this was beyond fury and many were frightened enough as it was.

“We…we…lo...lost him, sir?” someone finally managed to squeak out.

“YOU LOST HIM? HOW COULD YOU LOSE HIM!! HE IS A WEAKLING FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!! MOVE!! MOVE!! SEARCH EVERY CORNER!! DESTROY EVERY HOUSE!! MAKE SURE YOU FIND HIM OR YOUR HEADS WILL BE MINE!!”

“YES SIR!!”

Leaning his hands against a wall to catch his breath, he tried hard to make sense of what had just happened. How could that boy do this to him? Where had he gotten such strength from?

“He is being protected, that’s why.”

Nappa felt the blood drain from his face and pool somewhere in the pits of his stomach, as that cold and lifeless voice spoke to him.

~ Oh, please, don’t let it be who I think it is. ~

“Aren’t you going to say hello, Nappa? Is this the way you greet a friend after all this time?”

Nappa swallowed tightly and spun slowly to face the smirking face of the man he had thought gone for good. “Turles…”

The spiky-haired wa’zua guffawed in mirth before slapping his arm across the tense shoulders of the General. “It’s okay, Nappa. You don’t have to fall all over me in joy. I actually came here to help you.”

“Is that right?” came the very unenthusiastic reply.

“Of course, my friend!! That is why we are partners, ne? You help me, I help you, right?!”

“Right.”

Turles nodded vigorously, as if they were having the most pleasant conversation in the world. “I think I know of a way you can capture Kakkarrot.”

That got the General’s attention and he had to bite back his retort as he noticed the look of smugness on his tormentor’s face. “How did you know…”

“No matter how I knew. I will help you capture him.”

“What’s the catch?” Nappa asked warily. He had dealt with too much of Turles to know that there had to be something attached to his weird assistance.

Turles had the grace to look taken aback. “Catch? What catch? There is no catch.”

“You don’t fool me, Turles.” Nappa spat out angrily, as he shook himself to get rid of the annoying arm on his shoulder. “I know you are up to something. Why would you want to help me find him, huh? What is the CATCH?!’

Turles frowned as if in deep concentration, and with a snort he spun around and began to walk away. “I tell you there is no catch and you refuse to believe me. I guess you do not need my help then. I wonder how Gradun would take the news.”

Nappa wanted to throttle him. “Alright!!”

“Alright, what?”

Nappa could hear the smile of victory in that voice, and his hands itched to REALLY throttle the other saiyan. “Alright. Where. Is. Kakkarrot?” he spat out in clipped tones.

Turles spun back around, his robes billowing around him in a flourish. His handsome face broke out into a sunny grin that contradicted the air of violence and death that surrounded them. “And here I thought you would never ask!! Come with me, bring a few of your soldiers, for before morn tomorrow, I guarantee you a saiyan within your grasps.”

~*~ Flashback end ~*~

And that was how they had ended up here. Turles had made them wait a few miles away, but close enough for them to witness all that was going on, and Nappa had nonetheless been impressed with what he had seen so far…that was until the explosion.

If he had thought that Radditsu was a fine specimen, then Kakkarrot would have been….he couldn’t find the words to describe him.

~ No wonder the King has feelings for him. I would jump his bones in a heartbeat. ~

He had watched the arguments or exchange between the three Saiyans, and he had found himself wishing and hoping that the brothers would have by now killed the annoying saiyan, but to his growing dismay, he had watched as Turles had gained the upper hand.

And then there was the explosion.

Such an energy surge that he had never thought possible. It was blinding. It was overwhelming. It threatened to snap his sanity.

~ And we are supposed to capture this boy? Oh, Za’ani, help us… ~

“Sir? Sir? What do we do with Turles, sir?”

He snapped himself out of his thoughts and allowed a small smirk of satisfaction to cross his lips before turning back to stare at his officers. “If they both show no signs of slowing down or giving up….you are to capture the boy ALIVE and as for Turles….you can finish him off.”

“You mean…we should…”

“YES!” Nappa snapped. “KILL HIM!!”

~*~*~*~*~*~

Turles was unable to control his tongue from snaking out to lick his lips. His entire being thrummed in anticipation. The beautiful golden-haired fighter in front of him was too good to resist.

~ After I deal with him, I will have him. You boys will just have to wait a little longer. ~

“Come for me, Kakkarrot. AIYAAA!!!”

Kakkarrot watched as Turles leapt high into the air, sending a ki blast towards him. Barely having the time to dodge, he crossed his arms over his face and found himself being pushed back from the force of the energy beam. It burned his arms, and the pain shot through his body as he slid painfully against the rough earth. Finally able to gather his momentum, he leapt out of the way and watched with heaving breaths as the blast destroyed a nearby mountain.

Just as he was about to spin around, he felt the arms tighten around his neck in a chokehold. He clawed the air in front of him frantically, trying to draw precious air into his constricted lungs. He kicked his legs in an effort to push Turles off his back. To his horror and disgust, he could feel the hardened evidence of arousal rub against his bare buttocks. To his utter dismay, he could feel himself get aroused by the slow erotic movements and clearly unable to hide his own erection.

A low chuckle came close to his ear as Turles breathed huskily. “Hmm…I see that the thrill of a fight triggers off your body as well. No worries, Kakkarrot. I will take good care of you.”

And with a light lick and a quick nip on the younger saiyan’s ear, Turles thrust his legs roughly between Kakkarrot’s legs, while releasing an arm and reaching down to grab the turgid flesh in a rough stroke.

Kakkarrot bucked and hissed in a sharp breath. How could he let this happen to him? What in the hell was Turles trying to do? Rape him in mid-air? In the middle of a fight?

~*~*~*~*~

Nappa couldn’t believe his eyes.

He rubbed them again just to make sure.

Yes, there was a super saiyan. Kakkarrot was a super saiyan. One of the legends.

~ Za’ani! ~

And Turles had him in a lock and was trying to…

“What in Vegetasei does that ka’tai think he is doing?!”

~*~*~*~*~

Vegeta was just about to open up another parchment to sign, when the pain seared through his head.

“ARGH!!”

“My Liege! Are you alright?”

Vegeta winced and nodded absentmindedly at the concerned look on his guards face. “I will be fine.” He muttered harshly. “Za’ani!!”

He fell to his knees onto the floor and clutched his head. The pain would not go away. It was driving him insane. He could hear the voices running around his head. The anguished cry of…

“Kakkarrot.” He whispered softly. “What is happening to you?”

“My Liege…should we get the healer…?”

“I said I will be fine!!” Vegeta shouted angrily. This was not a really good idea, for he felt the pain travel down to the pits of his stomach causing him to wrap his arms around it protectively. “GAK!! I can’t…can’t…”

The guards watched in horror as Vegeta collapsed onto his face on the cold floors of the office. What were they to do now?

“Let us call, Kazak!” one of the wa’zua said.

“There will be no need for that.”

The five guards spun around as the voice of First Lieutenant Gradun froze them in their tracks. They watched with wary eyes as the wa’zua walked up to the lying king, a look of quiet disgust etched on his face.

Suddenly the first guard spoke up. “Stay away from him, Lieutenant!” There was something about that look in the officer’s eyes that he did not like.

Gradun spat out and in a quick move, fired a ki blast through the rebellious soldier’s stomach. The other guards could only watch in silence as the Lieutenant spun around to take them in with those dead eyes.

“Any body else have a problem?”

Quick shakes of their heads brought a malicious grin to his face. “Tama!”

“Yes, sir!”

“Take the Ha’j to his quarters. He needs a lot of rest now.”

Ahi!

“And as for the rest of you.” Gradun continued, his cold eyes pinning each of the remaining soldiers into place. “If any of you say a word about what happened in here today…I will kill you, got it?”

“Yes, sir!”

“Good…whatever happens in the castle…stays in the castle.”

~*~*~*~*~

Kakkarrot felt humiliated. He felt abused. He felt incredibly filthy and to top it all, it felt like he was betraying someone.

~ Vegeta… ~

“ARCK!!” He arched his neck as he felt the sharp canines dig into his neck. He could feel the slow trickle of blood down his fevered skin as the suckling sounds of the hungry bloodsucker grated harshly against his ear.

~ No!! No!! I am already claimed!! How dare he?!! ~

Turles had had the audacity to bite him at the very spot that Vegeta had already marked as his, and the sudden rage that filled his body was enough to make the older saiyan stop for several seconds.

“What’s the matter, Kakkarrot?” came the lazy drawl, as bloodstained lips smacked together noisily. “Do you not find me attractive after all?”

“You had no right.” The super saiyan replied quietly, his former expression of pain now completely masked with a look of blank intensity.

“I had no right to do what?” Turles asked albeit calmly. He had seen the mark that had been made on the younger saiyan’s neck, but in his rush and need to fulfill his raging lust, he had given no heed to that.

“I am already claimed.” Kakkarrot continued coldly. “You had no right, and for that you will pay.”

Turles was about to give his reply, when he suddenly found himself holding onto no one. Kakkarrot had vanished from within his grasp, and he had to broaden his senses to search for the elusive ki. Growling in frustration, he spun around in mid-air, trying desperately to locate the saiyan.

~ Where are you? I have a little surprise for you. ~

He twirled the dagger he had carefully removed from within his she’olah, and he shifted it from one palm to the other. His eyes took in the sight of the crawling Radditsu, and a wicked smirk lit up his devilish features.

~ Where do you think you are going? ~

Radditsu screamed out in pain as he felt the heavy crush of a booted foot on his palms. He had been trying to escape or at least find a way to help Kakkarrot. Now it looked liked his plans had all been for nothing.

“Going somewhere, nephew? You disappoint me, really you do.”

And placing the blade next to Radditsu’s neck, he shouted out in irritation. “COME OUT, KAKKARROT OR YOUR BROTHER DIES, RIGHT NOW!!”

“Why continue with idle threats? You will die too, you know.”

Turles glared hatefully at the grim smile and words that came out of the bleeding saiyan before him. “Is that right?”

“Yes it is. I don’t really care if you kill me or not. My time is up anyway, but Kakkarrot…he will defeat you, and then we will meet again in the depths of hell. This time there will be no interference between our battle.”

“You have the guts to speak for someone who is about to die, boy.”

“I do not fear death. So finish me and let fate decide.”

“As you wish.”

~*~*~*~*~

Nappa watched in growing horror as the bright glint of the dagger was flashed into the air.

~ That is the dagger…the knife of Sa’kai! There is no way he can survive that! ~

“Sir? What do we do now sir?”

Nappa had to think quickly. He had no concern for Radditsu, but yet, he did not want Turles to have the satisfaction of killing him off, and besides, that boy, Kakkarrot, had vanished into thin air.

“Sir?!”

“Grr…leave me alone! I am trying to think!!”

The next thing that happened, however, gave him no reason to do that at all.

~*~*~*~*~

“As you wish.”

Radditsu shut his eyes and waited for the fateful plunge. So this was it. He was going to die by the Sa’kai blade. How fitting. Several minutes later and nothing doing, he opened up his eyes to see what the delay was, and to his surprise and slight joy, he saw that Kakkarrot had returned.

Turles had dropped him and focused his attention back to the golden-haired warrior. “Come back, have you? What were you planning on doing? Taking a short break?”

His reply was a stony glare and the slow outstretch of strong and capable hands. Turles watched with amusement as the dull hum of an energy blast being formed reached his ears. He shook his head and tried to hold back his laughter.

“Do you not learn from mistakes? Go ahead and fire it…although I will not let you!!”

And with a lunge, the dagger firmly kept in his hands; he struck out for Kakkarrot only to gasp in amazement as he found himself sinking the steel blade into a ghostly apparition. “What in the…”

“OVER HERE!!”

Turles spun around and was quickly given a crushing blow to his head. The hits didn’t stop as he felt his ribs and stomach simultaneously attacked by an enraged saiyan. His body felt as if it were on fire. He tried to block as many of the blows as he could, but Kakkarrot had the clear advantage. He was quicker, and he was stronger at this point. He could feel the warmth of his blood stain his robes as the cuts from his wounds flowed quickly.

~ No! I cannot allow him to beat me!! I have conquered death! I cannot allow him!! ~

And with a shriek that sounded anything but human, he leapt even higher into the air and stared down at the panting figure of the super saiyan below him. The dagger had long been discarded, and Radditsu was quick to take the advantage. He crawled up to it and held the steel coolness against his body. At least if Turles tried anything funny, he wouldn’t hesitate to use it.

Kakkarrot stared at the maniacal grin that was now etched on the face of his kin. It was a look of one who had completely gone insane. One who was so desperate to try anything to win.

“Do you know who I am, Kakkarrot?! Do you know the powers that I have?! I can destroy the entire kingdom if I so choose to! I am death!! And I will conquer you all!!”

Kakkarrot, Radditsu and their undiscovered audience gasped out in fear, as the sky seemed to rumble in anger. Dark clouds and fierce winds picked up dramatically. Lightening flashes and thunderstorms echoed throughout the almost barren landscape. It looked like a really bad tornado was about to erupt.

Kakkarrot had to shield his eyes to protect himself against the flying debris. He could barely see his attacker now, and he knew that Turles now had the advantage. Gritting his teeth in frustration, he cursed loudly. “Show your face, you coward!! I am not afraid of you!! I am not afraid of death!!”

“KAKKARROT! LOOK OUT!!”

“Huh…”

Radditsu’s warning came a bit too late, as he felt the painful blow on the lower part of his back. His momentum took him straight towards the earth, and he landed with a painful thud onto it. An evil cackle erupted from Turles mouth as he took in the sight of the motionless warrior. Radditsu clenched his teeth, his fury going over its boiling point. Kakkarrot had transformed back into his normal state, and Radditsu knew that he had expended all of his energy.

Getting up to his feet slowly, he made sure that Turles was still preoccupied with laughing at his brother’s demise. When he was sure that he was capable of standing on his own feet without falling, he staggered weakly towards the back of the saiyan that had caused him so much misery.

~ This time, I will not let you live. ~

~*~*~*~*~

“Sir! I think Turles has killed him!!”

“Will you just shut up!!” Nappa screamed in anger. This was not good at all. This had not been the plan. That ka’tai had killed Kakkarrot.

“I knew there had to be a catch.” He muttered softly to himself. “Alright men!! At my signal, you move and attack!! Remember we need the boy!!”

~ Assuming he is still alive. ~

“YES SIR!!”

He turned around to take in the scene again, only to gasp out in disbelief at what had taken place.

~*~*~*~*~

He saw the steel blade rather than feeling the pain. It was matted with his blood and was now twisting itself slowly within his body. Pain. What was pain? He didn’t know what it meant. He had suffered before. He had been sent to the Blasted Lands. But had he ever, really felt pain? Was that was this was? Pain?

He spun around slowly to face his opponent. The insane grin had not left his face as he stared at the dying man in front of him. “So…you did have the guts after all, ne Radditsu?”

Radditsu could barely stand now. Just sticking the dagger into the other saiyan had drained the last of his strength. He could already feel the effects of the poison. His body was slowly decaying, and he was not going to live for much longer. He allowed a smile to reach his lips.

“At least we are now even, ne Turles?”

Turles tried to laugh, but all that came out of his mouth was the low gurgle of blood. His vision grew hazy as the figure before him seemed to sway, or was it him swaying? He tried to drag the knife away from his body, but only succeeded in causing himself some more…pain.

~ So this is…this is….death… ~

~ Ahi, Turles. This is death. ~

The bloodsucker spun around at the sound of the voice. Standing to his left was Bardock, a look of pity mixed with hatred laced upon his handsome visage. Next to him stood Saida, looking just as beautiful as ever. A small smile of satisfaction was etched upon her visage before it became a grimace.

~ To the depths of the valleys of hell shall you go, Turles. ~ She spoke softly.

~ And may the gods of Vegetasei guide your endless journey. ~ Bardock finished.

Radditsu could only watch, bewildered, as Turles seemed to be reaching out for some unseen person. That simple luxury was quickly taken away from him as another flare of agony coiled around his being. He fell to the ground and rolled onto his back, wanting, needing to see the sky for one last time. And as if willing to grant his final wish, the dark clouds parted to reveal the beginnings of a calm and beautiful night. The stars were beginning to twinkle brightly and Radditsu could only part his lips into a grateful smile.

~ I am coming Saida. Please wait for me. ~

~*~*~*~*~

General Nappa walked around the three bodies in utter and complete amazement. What had happened today? He couldn’t even believe it himself. If someone had told him this was to happen, he would have blasted him or her to oblivion.

“Sir…what do we do now, sir?”

Stooping down to Kakkarrot’s body, he checked for a pulse. Thankfully it was there. Light, but still there.

“He is still alive. Take him away.”

“Yes sir!”

“Be careful for crying out loud!!” As he watched them trying to drag Kakkarrot across the floor. He felt a dull ache in his chest as the sounds of the chains and shackles being tied around the unconscious boys’ hands and feet sounded harshly in his ear.

~ Grr…stop it! You are becoming way too soft! Why should I care about him? I will send him to Gradun and that will be the end of that. ~

So why wasn’t he thrilled at his conquest? Perhaps it was because of what he had witnessed this evening. The amazing resilience of the brothers. They had stood up to Turles and had defeated him, where he had failed.

~ He would make a fine wa’zua. They both would have. ~

Walking up to Radditsu’s body, he had to stifle a cry as he noticed the already dying flesh. Turning away quickly, he summoned his other soldiers.

“Take their bodies away from here. Take them to the …to the…”

~ Sacred Mountains. ~

“Huh? Who said that?! ~

The soldiers stared at him in bemusement. “Said what, sir?” One of them asked.

“Never mind! Take them to the sacred mountains!”

The wa’zua were now really puzzled. Where was that? “Umm…sir…we don’t…”

~ Follow the whispering wind and the stars in the north. They will lead you there. ~

Nappa repeated the instructions and watched as the saiyans stood around looking dumbfounded. “WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! MOVE IT!!”

“YES SIR!!”

Several hours later, after the bodies had finally been cleared away and his men given the orders to leave, the burly warrior had chosen to stay for a little bit longer. The earlier scene of death and chaos making him unable to move. And those voices…

~ Who are you? Why are telling me all of this? I am the enemy. ~

~ N’ehi Nappa sa’un ni Radanu. You are one of us. And you will help us to succeed. ~
