This was based on the MTV
show called ‘Tail Daters.’ (No longer in progress) Where two couples are sent
out on a blind date armed with instant message Sidekicks. In a trailer, which
follows the couple wherever they go, are two friends representing each person.
They get to watch the events of the date as they unfold and try to give advice
to their respective friend on how to make the date much more interesting. At
the end of the night, the couple have the option of either calling their
friends to rescue them from their boring partner or to party in a waiting
limousine and of course get to give their verdicts on whether or not they would
like to meet the other person again for a second date.
Consider this ‘Blind Date’
with spectators.
THE AFTERGLOW:
[Camera zooms in to laughing
Duo, who is leaning heavily against a smiling (a rather small smile, mind you)
Heero. They are currently making their way towards small bar and they soon
order drinks for themselves.]
Turns out that I had fun tonight after all, Duo thinks with a winning grin as he leans forward to
steal another kiss from Heero. And
man…can he kiss or what?!
“I had a good time tonight,
Heero,” he finally says warmly. “What about you?”
Heero looks reluctant to give
his verdict but finally nods with smile widening a bit. “I had…fun, too.
We should…”
Do this again sometime?
[Meanwhile, back in the RV,
camera pans to frantically waving Quatre, who is trying his darnest best to
revive the still comatose Hilde. Trowa rises to feet and gives a real genuine
grin of accomplishment, while Wufei is seen busy punching a message in the Sidekick.]
::Heero’s Sidekick:: CAN WE GO TO THE LIMO TO PARTY
NOW?!
Heero tucks the Sidekick into
the pockets of his pants and places hand on Duo’s arm lightly, urging him out
of bar. “Looks like the guys want us to party.”
“Alright!!” Duo yelps and
proceeds to jump playfully on Heero’s back, quite surprised to find himself
being given a piggyback ride all the way to the waiting limousine. He laughs in
glee as he is dumped into the car, followed quickly by Heero and then a barrel
of energy simply known as Wufei Chang.
“Wufei!” Heero exclaims in
surprise as he has to scoot out of the way to allow the other boy access. Trowa
soon enters with a wave and bright smile, followed by a blushing but grinning
Quatre and a flushed looking Hilde, who still looks a bit dazed. She promptly
pounces on Duo and places herself between the two boys, not noticing the glare
that is thrown her way from Heero.
Everyone begins to talk at
the same time…er…besides Heero, as each tries to get a word in on how the date
had gone from beginning to end.
“I still say you should have
taken his shirt off, Duo,” Hilde scolds as she reaches for the champagne that
Wufei has poured out for her.
“You passed out from watching
Heero’s kiss, for crying out loud!” Comes the complaint from Wufei and he is
promptly chucked with something that eerily looks like a Sidekick.
“Where did you learn to kiss
like that, Heero?” Trowa asks in frank curiosity.
Duo blushes to the roots of
his hair and is thankful for his hair hiding his face as he downs another glass
of champagne. He thinks he is this close to getting tipsy…not that it is a bad
thing, all things considered.
Heero smirks again and
reaches over to cup Duo’s face within palm. “I guess it’s just a natural
talent, ne?” And without much ado, he begins to kiss Duo again, causing his
companions to protest.
“Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewww!!
The date is over!!” Hilde complains, since both boys are kissing over
her. “Knock it off!!” She begins to pound on Heero’s back with her hand,
debating on whether or not to pour her drink on his head.
Wufei scowls and shakes head.
“Damn. Give him one night of freedom and he turns into a sex-starved lunatic!”
[Camera pans to Trowa and
Quatre who are currently having a…………. make out session of their own?! One can
hear cameraman gasp in shock…as well as the audience…before scene is changed to
a completely flabbergasted look on Wufei’s features.]

[Zoom in to Trowa and Wufei
sitting on lounge chairs in front of a pool.]
So, what did you think of
Duo and Heero’s date tonight?
Trowa purses lips. “Hmm…it
was pretty interesting. I wasn’t expecting Duo to do so well in bringing out
Heero’s inner perversions, but it was all good.” // Is currently thinking of
asking Quatre out for date soon.//
Wufei makes a face. “I
thought it was going pretty well in the beginning, but when Duo started acting
like a slut, I got pretty mad and upset and thought…” // Is having a jealousy
complex going on right about now.//

[Zoom in to Hilde and Quatre
sniggering and leaning against a bar.]
So, what did you think of
Duo and Heero’s date tonight?
Hilde grins and waves her
hand. “I thought it was awesome! They really do work well together and I hope
that Heero gets out of his shell and relaxes a bit more.” // Wishes she were
Duo and could have a piece of Heero’s cute ass.//
Quatre smiles and nods. “I
thought it was a wonderful date as well. I think the two of them should really
do it again sometime.” // Is currently thinking of shagging Trowa stupid at
this point.// Ah…the joys of being blonde and cute.

[Camera follows Duo, who is
walking towards Hilde and Quatre. He has happy smile on face and hair is still
not braided for some odd reason.]
So, what did you think of
Heero?
Duo gives small, secretive
smile. “He turned out to be fun in the end. I thought I was going to have to
pull all the stops to get him to at least smile for me, but we have good chemistry.
And we have decided to see each other again. So, thank you guys for hooking me
up, hmm?” // Really wants to do some thorough investigation of Heero’s
assets.//

[Camera pans on Heero who is
on his way to meet Trowa and Wufei. He looks…content, not really smiling, or
scowling.]
So, what did you think of
Duo?
A look of consternation comes
on features for a moment. “Do I really have to answer that? You saw what
happened.” // In order words…talk to me after I have had a chance to truly inspect
the merchandise.//

Khushrenada and Wufei Chang as blind dates for each other!
Wufei bellows from somewhere.
“Hey! What the…?! I did not authorize that! Why am I always stuck with the old
guys?!”
